BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

If you’re looking to get a tattoo from Neri, please read the information below carefully – if that works for you, complete the booking form.

Note that we will not use or accept images of other tattoos as a reference image as Neri will not copy other artists designs.

At the beginning of your first appointment, we will discuss and finalize your tattoo design. Designs are not prepared prior to the session. With your input, Neri will design a first draft – you can brainstorm together and see if anything needs to be improved or added.

If it is a larger or more complex project, however, we will offer to spend a whole session working on the design. In this situation, we will take payment for the hours spent working on this at our usual rate of $175 an hour — minus your deposit.

Our standard rate is $700 per half day session and $1400 per full day session.

Half day sessions are 4 hours and full day sessions are 8 hours.

(If you need assistance determining which session is right for you, please visit APPOINTMENT HELP.)

Larger projects such as full sleeves, back pieces, and others may take 8 to 10 sessions depending on variables such as skin type, the size and detail of the tattoo, and other factors not listed here. As this is an artistic project, there is no way to guarantee the exact amount of sessions a tattoo will take upfront – every project and person is unique.

Smaller tattoos require the artist’s minimum of $175 – this will cover up to 1 hour of work. If the tattoo requires time beyond that, each additional hour will be billed at $175 per hour.

Payments are due immediately at the end of each session.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment – this is $100 for a half day and $200 for a full day.

All deposits are non-refundable.

The deposit serves to reserve all your booking dates and design time, and will be applied to the cost of the tattoo session.

If you need to change the date of your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, you must let us know at least 5 days prior to the session so we can rearrange our schedules. A new deposit will be required to continue working together if you cancel or reschedule with less than 5 days notice. You may reschedule your appointment only once without losing your deposit.

Proper forms of identification include your driver’s license or passport. We require that you show proof of your legal age either by submitting a copy online prior to your appointment or in person before beginning any work.

The tattoo session will start at either 12pm or 5pm.

  • Make sure to be well-rested before coming into the appointment.
  • Eat a meal beforehand to prevent low blood sugar issues.
  • To prepare for the tattoo itself, we request that you shave the area you are getting tattooed, but please be careful not to cut yourself.
  • Please do not drink alcohol for several days prior to your session – this may cause excessive bleeding during the session and cause an issue with the healing process. Arriving at your appointment drunk or excessively hungover may result in the cancellation of your session – without the option to reschedule, and will result in a lost deposit.
  • Make sure to wear comfortable clothing that helps with the tattooing process. If you’re getting a tattoo on your arm, a tank top or sleeveless t-shirt will be helpful; if you’re getting a tattoo on your leg, it’s better to wear shorts.
  • Please bring your own lunch and snacks.
  • Tattoos are much less painful and your artist is able to work more efficiently when the body is nourished and fed. We have a refrigerator and a microwave free to use at any time.
  • Please bring your own water bottle. The studio provides drinking water to refill bottles, as well as complimentary coffee.

We reserve the right to cancel your session if you are unprepared or if we feel it is unsafe for us to tattoo you.

If you have any health problems, allergies, or contraindications, please let us know about this in advance of your appointment.

For your protection and the safety of others, you are required to notify us ahead of time if any of the following applies to you:

  • You have felt ill or been exposed to other individuals showing symptoms of illness within the past 14 days.
  • You have traveled within the past 14 days.
  • You have previously tested positive for Covid-19.

Upon your arrival at the studio we will take your current body temperature via a touchless forehead thermometer, have you fill out a liability waiver, and acquire a photo of your government issued ID for our records if these were not submitted online prior to your appointment.

If your temperature shows that you have a fever, or if you show any other active symptoms like sneezing or coughing, we will assist you with rescheduling your appointment.

If you are running late, you must inform us via email or call the studio at (760) 565 2267. Please Note: Your deposit will be forfeited as a ‘late fee’, which is charged at the original start time of your appointment.

If you are more than 30 minutes late without any notification, the session will be canceled without any refund.

If you do not show up for the appointment – you lose your deposit and we will not be able to work together.

Remaining in communication with us is key!

Your deposit and the waiver being signed will be understood as an agreement to the entire policy above, and in doing so, you agree that you will not be refunded the deposit for any reason whatsoever.

It is essential that you accurately complete the booking form by including your design idea, reference pictures and the location on your body where you want the tattoo.

If you do not include this, we will not be able to get back to you or confirm your appointment.

If you have any questions or need help, please contact us. We make sure to respond as soon as possible but we receive many inquiries. Please be patient and we will reply to you as soon as we can.
